the deep inner knowing

“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.” - Albert Einstein

We all have it - whether we believe it or not.
That deep inner knowing.
The quiet sense that we’re on the right path.
That this person is meant for us.
That we're doing the right thing.

But here’s the truth: if you can’t hear it, that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. It’s not gone it’s just been buried under noise, forgotten for a while. Still, it lives within you. It always has.

Call it what you like:
Your intuition.
Your higher self.
Your inner wisdom.
Your inner guidance.

It’s that subtle pull in a certain direction. The same message that keeps returning in whispers, over and over again.
It’s soft. It’s still. It never shouts.
Which is why, so often, it gets drowned out by the loudness of the mind.

Our minds are wired to keep us safe. They are brilliant, loud, analytical, relentless. For most of us, this is where our attention goes because it feels like the only voice we’ve ever known.

But beneath that volume, there is another voice. A wiser one. A voice that isn’t trying to protect you through fear, but guide you through truth.

but The question is: why listen to it?
Why not just follow the mind - the one so loud,
so fast, so protective, so convincing?
The mind spins stories, predicts outcomes, seeks control.

But just because it’s loud doesn’t mean it’s right.
Just because it’s familiar doesn’t mean it’s true.

Beneath that noise lives something quieter.
A voice not made of fear or urgency,
but of clarity, calm, and truth.

It’s been there all along
waiting for the moment you get still enough
to remember it.

Because the deep inner knowing doesn’t just offer answers.
It offers truth.
It doesn’t respond to fleeting wants or unmet needs.
It aligns you with who you truly are
and who you’re here to become.

It strips away ego.
It silences comparison.
It dissolves guilt, envy, restlessness, and impulse.
And what’s left is something deeply, wholly, you.

The mind clings to patterns. what’s familiar, what feels safe.
But the deep inner knowing?
It gently urges you beyond what you’ve always done,
because it knows you are capable of more.

And sometimes, that knowing is terrifying.

Learning to hear it takes practice
especially if you’re used to deciding
through logic, fear, or the opinions of others.

But like all true change, it starts small.

just Begin by noticing:
Can you hear it?
Can you pause long enough to sense it?
Can you sit in stillness, even for a moment, and just feel?

It may sound completely different to someone else’s. that’s the point.
This isn’t about mimicking someone else’s path,
or repeating what worked for them.
It’s not about following their version of truth.

This work is about finding your own.
About remembering the voice that belongs only to you
the one that’s been waiting patiently beneath the noise,
the one that knows exactly where you’re meant to go.

Reconnecting with it takes time.
It takes gentleness, patience, and love.

Your mind has led for so long.
Your impulses have shouted,
screamed,
competed for your attention.

But start by listening for the quieter voice
the one that doesn’t push,
the one that doesn’t demand.
It invites.
It quietly guides.

And in that stillness,
you’ll begin to hear something.
Something calm.
Something filled with knowing.
Something that never really left.

Your deep inner knowing
finally and gently welcoming you home.
