Week Two: Deepening The Practise
As I said, I’m doing this challenge alongside you. And what I’ve noticed — maybe you have too — is that it’s easy to set intentions and then forget them in the busyness of daily life. You reflect at the end of the week and realise: while there was growth, some of the practices you planned to stick with quietly slipped away.
That’s why, instead of introducing something new, we’re simply going to build on what we began in Week One. Think of this as a continuation to what you are already building.
Because the truth is, building inner awareness doesn’t happen in a week. Or even two. It’s a slow, intentional process — and it takes time, patience and presence for real change to begin.
In Week One, we focused on three foundational intentions:
Creating a pause between stimulus and response
Sitting with hard emotions just a little longer
Starting a relationship with your inner voice
And we introduced three daily support practices:
A morning and evening check-in
The 90-second pause
A grounding practice to reconnect with yourself
But in coming back to reflect, I realised that many of the things I wanted to do didn’t quite happen, not fully anyway - and that’s okay. That’s the work. This is the moment where you gently return, with more clarity and compassion.
So in Week Two, that’s the invitation:
Return to the practices. Return to yourself.
Notice what supported you and what didn’t. Let go of perfection. Recommit not from pressure, but from love and compassion.
Before you begin the week, take a look back at your reflections from Week One.
hat patterns did you notice? How do you want to meet them with more softness and understanding this time around?
Were there practices that helped — even a little? Choose one or two to gently commit to again, with more presence. This isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing with intention.
We’re keeping it simple.
This week isn’t about adding anything new.
It’s about deepening what you’ve already begun.
I am right there with you.
Love
